Title: Palmos Wireless
Description: PalmOS wireless

Does anyone use PalmOS PDA's wirelessly? We were going to implement a few years ago until we found out that data didn't actually get updated until we performed a hotsync. Most of our users use Treo 600's and 650's and some never hotsync. They do everything wirelessly. Therefore, we didn't implement Lawson's PalmOS product. We would like to implement now if they allow wireless access. I have left a voice mail for my CAM but haven't heard back in a few days.

We're on Solaris, Env 8.0.2, Apps 8.0.3

Thanks!

Lawson has the following on their website, which runs on CE and not PalmOS I believe. http://www.lawson.com/software/core_business/hospital.shtml

The site claims, "...Microsoft Windows®-based mobile operating system, which works with a variety of popular handheld devices. It takes full advantage of wireless (802.11b) technology, with the availability of 128-bit encryption. "

Well I guess they decided to go with CE and get away from PalmOS. Thanks!
