We are running on Lawson 7 windows 2000 server.
Im having the following issues with security reports..
1. When I run a User Information Listing I get corrupted characters. Here is the process In using to run... laua...F7... Option B. User Name.. Run Option User List.
2. I¡¦m not able to run Form ID Security Report..I get the following error.. GetTranHdr: Cannot read TranHeader: No error
If I run this report for a single security class with few programs init it works. Seems to be the problem with file size..
Please advise me
It SOUNDS like you may have some security index corruption.
Try executing 'secinteg -f' then rerun your report.
Let us know what happens.
Well..... There's good news and bad news..
The GOOD news is that PT 158397 was issued to fix exactly that problem.
The BAD news is that it's only available for Env 8.0.3.6 and greater.....
You COULD probably do some selective rngdbdumps from the GEN USER* tables to get the same data, but it would certainly be a bear...
Looks like it might be time to start considering a (couple) upgrade(s). You'll have to go from 7 to 8 - then (if you want) from 8 to 9.
