Title: W2 Print
Description: Federal EIN printing in State ID box

It's our first year on Lawson, learning a lot with our first year end. Has anyone experienced their Federal EIN printing the State ID box (15b) on their W2s and know how to fix it?

Understand the frustrations of first year end. For us, we use our Federal EIN for our State ID also so it makes sense for us to print that there. I assume you have a separate ID number for your state?

Yes, our Fed EIN and our State EIN are different. I updated the PR06 for the states but now our SUI quarterly reports are reflecting the wrong numbers. Seems like I have to have the PR06 one way when doing the W2/Mag Media files and then I need to flip it back when doing the SUI quarterlies. Can't imagine that's right but I'm finding any other solution.

That sounds awfully silly and inefficient. I assume the GSC wasn't a lot of help? Because we're set up differently, I'm not sure how far I can get with this, but I'll look around to see what I can find.

If you don't mind, can you please give me a few more details? When you say the numbers on the quarterlies are wrong, you mean EINs? And which way are you flipping things on the PR06 for each scenario.
