Does anyone have an automated way to lock down the Tax Withholding Bookmark during Payroll processing.

Currently I am simply Denying access to the bookmark during the Pay Period Processing.

Has anyone automated this? Via script, or??

You could create a user token that does the bookmark deny for you and add it as the first step in a multistep payroll job, then add one to allow as the last step.

Not sure how you would prevent the same thing from happening when running PR80.

What about making the field update-able (technical term) by PA only. That way, nothing changes until a PA100 is ran.

I have found myself in need of a way to do this as well. I trust you all and would like to ask if you could break down a bit what you mean by user token, etc. I hate to ask for step by step but any would be great. I need an automated way to do the bookmark deny.
