HELP!

When adding a new index to a Lawson table (in this situation, CUSTORDER) - users have lost rights to that table. The DBA needs to regrant permissions and all is well with the world.

This does NOT happen all the time. We are trying to figure out WHEN it happens - in this case we were adding a CONDITIONAL index to the table.

Does anyone have a rule of thumb for when permissions are lost? This happened last night and there are those that are looking for a "sacrifical lamb" for the issue that occurred with lost permissions.

Never mind - we found the answer. If the table is dropped, permissions are lost. If the dbreorg is done with the -d, the permissions are not.
