we are on 8.1 HR suite and need to get the data from our test environment into our live environment. Barring copying the database table which is Not recommended, it appears that addins is the way to go. I did not see a conversion program and fear that the addins is complicated with hidden fields, etc.

We tried using a template from our consultant and it did not work.

any ideas on the best way to get this info from one place to the other w/o having to MANUALLY rekey it?

Part of the problem with HR04 is that there are different forms for different types of HR Codes. Here's the set of uwf files I used for our 7.2 upload. I've also included the uwf file for HR03. While they're not templates, they will show you which fields I included in the uplaod.

I have a sample template for HR04.9 (ET - Establishment Type) that should give you an idea of how to use addins on HR04 setup. I've also used addins for type = CE, ED, EI, ES, and others but I can't seem to find templates for those. I don't recall there being any hidden keys or it being particularly difficult. Just tedious since the setup for each type can vary.
