While exploring various LSF9 upgrade options we've researched the Customer Certification option. If you're only going to do one person, it's quite expensive. HOWEVER, if you're going to do 2 people it's a bit better.

1st person = fixed fee $25K and includes 8 to 9 technology differences and the migration certification. Also includes a set 45 hours of remote support from Lawson over a 5 week period once you "activate" your project.

The good deal is that you can add a 2nd person to the certification for only $6000. We are leaning that way.

Other considerations are these (in our minds here):

$2475 for 8 to 9 differences training. So, even if we only do 1 person for the certification, we'll have to do both on the differences. So that's really only $3525 more for the 2nd cert.

The $25K price goes up to $30K if we don't lock in by June 1, 2007.

Websphere training is about $2400. We're looking for Microsoft LDAP training and see prices about $500.
