I was just wondering if anyone else is using the IC527 (HL7 Item Master - DBS) to interface IC information to PICIS OR Manager.

We have a dozen or so affiliates that use OR Manager, but have only recently started an initiative to create a "standardized" interface. This was based on PICIS saying that they could interpret the IC527 "natively" (that is, without any transformation). It turns out that this is not quite true, but since when should that surprise me?

I guess what I would like to hear about is any issues you came across with the interface and how you resolved it--did you push back on PICIS, on Lawson, or did you take on the responsibility of correcting things yourself?
