Title: Ctp 48414
Description: PR160 fixes

Has anyone installed CTP 48414. We need to install this so that the PR160 will show the PTO balances on the checks/check stubs. It appears that this CTP fixes about 82 different things and I'm hoping BREAKS NONE.
Any experience with this patch?

You should definitely run the installer program in "preview" mode. By doing so you'll see exactly how many objects will ACTUALLY be updated. You may be amazed to find that it's not really 82 at all but only a very few. It all depends on what other CTPs and MSPs you may have already installed.

We applied it to production last week after it had been in test for about 2 months. Not that it was actually TESTED for two months, mind you. For us it only wanted to compile PR160, PR80 and PR180.
However, we had also been instructed to apply #48638 which compiled 640 objects after it was activated. It also gave us a new version of PA52 which made me have to re-do a few Add Ins templates for uploads. What a pain that was. I just LOVE the version number for PA52PD that it delivered. We went from version 146.1.1 to version 146.1.1.1.2.1.1.1.18 - no joke.

Were you instructed to apply patch #48638 because you were applying patch #48414...or for some other reason?
I'd like to NOT put in patch #48638 unless it is necessary for what we are doing.
Who recommended that you also include patch 48638 and why??
Thanks to everyone for your responses!

Our issue was similar with regard to displaying balances on paystubs. Our PTO and ESB balances were displaying on the checks okay, however the labels for the balances were not. We have two plans, PTO and ESB. For some employees both balances had the label 'PTO' even though the balances displayed were for both PTO and ESB.
The LIS session recommended both patches at the same time. I don't know if we could've gotten away with just the one. Didn't bother trying it. I just do what they (LIS) tell me!
